Frequently Asked Questions

 

Is my privacy protected? Yes, we are very discreet and professional.   We do NOT maintain a computer file with your E-mail or other contact info. Any E-mails from us are hand-typed each time and maintained on paper records.  E-mails will also be sent in a “blind” format so your E-mail address will not appear in the “from” section if there are multiple recipients. We do not EVER give your personal contact information to ANY third party, period ! 

What airport? We service all major southern New Hampshire airports such as Concord, Manchester and Nashua.

Can I fly out of other airports? Yes, we can cover most of New England and New York State.  We suggest you see if there are others and get a group together for multiple flights. All flights must takeoff and land at the same airport and remain with 25 miles of that airport per FAA regulations.  There are ferry charges to move the airplane to a different location but if there are multiple flights booked at the same location we can give you a package discount.  Contact us for details.

Can you take more than two people at a time? The premier package gives you and your partner over six feet in length and four feet in width and was primarily designed for two people.  A third person can sit in the copilots seat but will have to remain in the copilots seat for the duration of the flight.  The standard package can take up to five people at a time.  There is no additional charge for extra people, you are paying for the aircraft and pilot, not a seat so the price is the same whether there are two or up to five passengers. 

Can I fly day or night? Yes, the choice is yours (dependent on open schedules and weather)

What if I give you a deposit and we can’t fly due to weather?   We are here to work with you.  We request that you pick an alternate date at the time of your flight booking to protect you if the flight must be canceled due to weather.   If we can’t fly on your alternate date due to weather we will refund your deposit or you may pick another alternate date.

Will my deposit be refunded for reasons other than weather? We will refund your deposit if you advise us more than one-week prior to your primary flight date.

Will the air be bumpy or turbulent? It is our goal to make your Fantastic Flight a pleasant one.  Your pilot will assess the flight conditions prior to your flight and advise you.

Where can we spend the night or weekend? We have no affiliation with any hotels or Inns can cannot make any specific recommendation or endorsement. However you easily search many of the fine establishments in the area by going to www.BedandBreakfast.com or www.Hotels.com or simply do a Google search.  You can also check with AAA if you are a AAA member and they will provide you travel guides and maps at no charge. (Contact us first to confirm the airport from which you will be flying so you can book your hotel reservations nearby if you so desire.)

Is there anything else to do in Southern New Hampshire? Manchester, Nashua and Concord are all major cities in New Hampshire and offer fine dining and entertainment. Manchester is only about an hours drive from Boston, Massachusetts if you want to visit the “big city.”

How much does it cost? We can offer you a plain (standard package) sightseeing flight for $429 for up to five people, (maximum weight limits will apply, this is a total price, not per person). For our Romantic Fantastic Flight (premier package) with the luxury seating area, the fee is $499. This is a total price, not per person.  The Premier package rate is a special promotional rate that cannot be combined with any other offer. There are no additional taxes or fees or hidden add-ons.

How long does it last? The flight is for a bit more than one-hour of engine running time. You can expect to be at altitude (one mile) for about 40-45 minutes to account for takeoff and landing times.

Suppose I want more time? We can negotiate additional time in fifteen-minute blocks at a rate of $90/fifteen minutes.  We’re not hard-core, if you go over by a couple minutes we’re not going to charge you  We want this to be a fun and pleasant, albeit Fantastic, adventure for you!

What methods of payment to you accept? Cash of course but we also accept PayPal.

Can I bring food or drink on the plane with me? You may bring a moderate amount of food or beverage but you should bring containers to secure them.  There are no cup holders or trays available.  Carbonated beverages are discouraged. We cannot fly you or your partner if any member appears intoxicated per FAA regulations.

How do I book a flight? Give us a call or send us an E-mail and we’ll check our calendar for you, book your flight and take credit card information for your deposit.  Deposits are credited to your flight charge. Flight charges are billed to your credit card just before your flight.

How experienced are your pilots? All our pilots have over 20 years, individually, of flying experience. All our pilots also have commercial pilot ratings and are on independent drug and alcohol testing programs; we have a zero tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use. We insure that all pilots are well rested before any flight. We meet or exceed all FAA requirements.
